Victrelis (Boceprevir), a drug that is effective in treating hepatitis C genotype 1, has been approved for use in Australia. However, it has not been approved for subsidised access.
Update 21/03/12: Boceprevir (and Telaprevir) have not been approved for listing under the PBS, meaning no subsidised access yet. It may be available on a limited basis for some people. For more information, call 1300 437 222.
